This course teaches the skills and knowledge required to demonstrate first attack firefighting equipment. It includes demonstrating and explaining to clients how to correctly and safely use portable fire extinguishers, fire hose reels and fire blankets in emergency situations.
The unit is suitable for those with basic skills and knowledge undertaking routine work tasks under the direction of more experienced workers.

On successful completion of this course, students will be eligible for a Statement of Attainment (SOA) for:
